Gideon grew up in the small town of Musina in the north of Limpopo. He matriculated from Afrikaans Hoër Seunskool in Pretoria and went on to study Architecture at TUT (Tshwane University of Technology). While running his own architecture firm, he discovered his passion for investments (property) and general financial wellness coaching. Because he loves working with people and cultivating professional relationships, becoming a financial planner was a logical next step for him. With four years' experience in the industry, his journey took him to the Momentum Financial Wellness Practice in Bloemfontein, where he assists and advises individuals, families, and businesses with and on long-term financial planning.
Matric 2008. What about the Architectural qualification at TUT?
I worked at various architecture firms before starting my own firm in Pretoria with a construction partner. After completing various investment courses (property and others), I joined Old Mutual in Bloemfontein as a business consultant to gain specific experience in the industry. Shortly thereafter, I joined the Momentum Financial Wellness Practice in Bloemfontein as a financial planner.
